Human Environment Interactions
Since Luxembourg is very small, the people need to maximize space as much as possible. The people of Luxembourg meet their needs by building roads and houses to meet travle and basic necessities. Luxembourgians also cut down trees to make more room for roads and buildings. Recently landfills have been established.

Political Borders
Luxembourg is (obviously) very small, and shares its borders with Belgium, Germany, and France. In the 1800's, Luxembourg was raised to the rank of Grand Duchy by the congress of Vienna and became the personal property of the King of Netherlands, William I. When the Grand Duchy was passed to the elder branch of the House of Nassau in 1890, Luxembourg became its own dynasty and has remained that way ever since.
